The AN/PEQ-2 does not have the safety block, but the peq 2AN/PEQ-2A does (or can).

Oh ok you are talking about the Larue LT124 QD Peq-2 mount which yes its taller than the insight mount that comes standard on the Peq-2. Im looking for something like the KAC mount or Larue LT605 which sits a bit lower than the standard peq 2mount
